How this calculator works
Fuel cost for any trip is simply your distance divided by your vehicle's mileage (giving litres needed), multiplied by the current fuel price — Fuel Cost = (Distance ÷ Mileage) × Price per Litre.
Worked example: a 600 km trip in a car with 15 km/l mileage needs 40 litres of fuel, costing approximately ₹4,000 at ₹100/litre.
