|---|---|---|---|

How this calculator works
Every funding round dilutes existing shareholders proportionally as new shares are issued to incoming investors — this calculator models how founder ownership shrinks across sequential rounds, based on each round's investment amount and pre-money valuation.
Worked example: starting at 100% ownership, a Seed round (₹20 lakh into an ₹80 lakh pre-money company) dilutes founders to 80%. A subsequent Series A (₹50 lakh into ₹1.5 crore pre-money) dilutes further, leaving founders with approximately 60% ownership after both rounds.
